Mohamed is an Associate Lecturer in RISC Institute.
Mohamed is an insurance and risk management professional having more than 10 years’ experience in the insurance industry in Africa.
He is the current Deputy General Manager of National Reinsurance Company Ltd in Sudan and previously with Juba Insurance Company and Sheikhan Insurance company. He has held various senior positions in the insurance and petroleum industry.
His work experience in insurance classes include reinsurance, takaful, marine, engineering, property, agriculture, political risks and aviation.
Mohamed received a BSc. in Business Administration from the University of Khartoum in 1988 and a Master’s Degree in Finance in 2015
He is qualified as an Associate in Risk Management (ARM) by the American Institute for Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriters (The Institutes). Furthermore, he also holds the Certificate in Insurance (Cert. CII) from the Chartered Insurance Institute. He also attended numerous trainings in Insurance and Risk Management in England, Switzerland, France, Dubai, Kenya, and South Africa.
He also holds a Diploma in French Language from the Ministry of Education in France
Mohammed serves as a consultant at the European & African Centre (EAC) for Research Takaful & Development and had been providing specialized trainings in Takaful, Risk Management, Insurance and Reinsurance for insurance company staff as well as seminars in Sudanese universities.
He speaks Arabic, English and French.
