Ms. Liliane Baaklini BSc. ACII

Liliane Baaklini is an associate trainer at RISC Institute regularly delivering CII and other general insurance training in Arabic and English. She is also the founder and managing director of LEBA Group SRL, an innovative outsourcing company for businesses in the insurance industry in Lebanon.

Ms Baaklini started her insurance career in 1997 and has held various positions in sales and marketing, customer service with the life division of Libano Suisse Insurance Company. In 2008 she was appointed as senior underwriter in the property and casualty department with responsibility for all classes of general insurance and reinsurance. She was promoted to head of research where she headed the division responsible for market research, new product development, quality assurance, technical training of brokers and agents, development of products in Arabic, and Takaful products.

In October 2011, she joined Zurich Middle East as underwriting manager, lebanon branch with responsibility to develop the business of the branch through direct sales channels and brokers. She was also responsible for the profitabilty of the underwriting portfolio and training of undewriting staff in nderwriting procedures and pricing.

In 2014 Ms Baaklini formed the LEBA group and has been providing training and consultancy in various insurance functions and management. She provides CII training courses at the Lebanese German University, Association des Compagnies d’Assurances au Liban (ACAL), and various other clients.

Ms Baaklini is an Assoociate of the Chartered Insurance Institite (ACII) and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Publicity. She has attended numerous insurance training courses in Undewriting, quality assurance, reinsurance, marketing and compliance.
