Mr Omer has been practicing in the Insurance industry for more than 30 years and has been active in all classes of General Insurance underwriting and claims. He is an Insurance experienced professional trainer, registered as experienced expert trainer with the Chartered Insurance Institute for six CII subjects. He holds the Diploma of the CII and the Dip. CII designation and a member of the Society of Underwriting CII London. His work experience started as an assistant Insurance Technician with Islamic Insurance Co. Sudan and moved to manager Loss Prevention Shiekan Insurance & Reinsurance Co, Sudan. He climbed up the corporate ladder at Shiekan Insurance & Reinsurance Co. Sudan and was promoted to Asisstant Managing Director for risk management, underwriting. He also held the post of Chief Operating Officer at Sheikhan Insurance. Mr. Omer is currently Country representative, manager business development UIB DIFC (UAE) and is also the Founder & CEO Hemaya Reinsurance Broker/ Insurance Advisory Services. With his extensive training experience and expertise, he was welcomed as an Associate Insurance trainer with RISC Institute in 2022.
