Mr.Yazeed Al Haj Ali

Mr. Al Haj Ali is currently Vice President – commercial lines with Insurance House in the UAE. His insurance career spans over 28 years during which he developed expertise in a wide range of general insurance classes and reinsurance. As Vice President of the insurance brokerage firm, he develops and handles business relationships with local and international clients and partners. Before being appointed vice president, Yazeed occupied the roles of senior underwriting manager for five years when he was responsible for direct and reinsurance business with all related aspects of Underwriting i.e. assessment of risks, rating, terms and conditions, facultative placements, inward facultative business.

As Senior Business Development Manager before taking on the role of senior underwriting manager, Yazed led a team of experts attending to brokers requirements and client relationships to manage portfolio of more than AED 200 million premium in all classes. Before joining Insurance House in 2017, Mr. Al Haj Ali occupied the position of Non-Marine Manager with Al Ain Ahlia Insurance Co leading a team of 26 professional to manage a portfolio of more than AED 350 million of all general classes including major large clients.

In his senior management roles, he trained and mentored members of his team in the principles and technical aspects of insurance including property, construction, engineering, aviation, medical and life insurance.
